Some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Provide USA Staffing and related systems demonstrations to Federal agency customers. Prepare, edit and publish government-wide communications materials about the USA Staffing program. Strategize and execute implementation and change management strategies and project plans for USA Staffing customer agencies. Meet regularly with customer agencies in person or via telephone to assist with the implementation and change management process. Use problem solving techniques to provide technical system guidance to customers on system configurations, business-process decisions, and standard operating procedures related to system use. Serve as an internal expert on USA Staffing features and functionality. To qualify for this position at the grade GS-12, you must have at least one full-time year (12-months) of specialized human resources work experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Examples of qualifying experience are as follows:
Devising and executing project plans and change management strategies for the challenges faced by clients implementing an automated system. Recommending Human Resources Information Technology (HRIT) system configurations and business processes that best meet client needs. Providing system demonstrations, training, and coaching on basic and advanced functionality to customers both on-site and virtually. Working with the customer to define problem statements and gather preliminary requirements for basic and advanced system enhancement requests. Serve as system administrator in an HRIT staffing / recruitment system for an organization, training staff and providing support with technical problems. Applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-11 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 level. You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
