Senior Lithography Manager

The Senior Technical Manager of Lithography is responsible for planning, coordinating and directing all internal metal decorating maintenance operations. Including efficient production at the lowest cost consistent with company quality standards and volume requirements in order to provide for timely supply of lithography product to the can manufacturing operation as well as outside customers.
The Manager is responsible for the continual improvement and investigation of any new equipment, materials and processes using the Continuous Grip Printing technology and will provide complete technical support at the direction of the Technical Director of Lithography. These responsibilities include inks and coatings which will complement the efficiency of the can manufacturing plant. This is position has supervisory responsibilities.
Always work with safety as the top priority and continuous improvement of the safety program. Ensure the full compliance with and of all applicable State and Federal requirements, including MDE.
Plan, coordinate and direct preventative maintenance and maintenance events of the metal decorating equipment with the goal of reducing unplanned down times for all production lines.
Produce Litho orders meeting the quality requirements of customers according to the production schedule.
Trouble-shoot problems on Continuous Grip Metal Printing presses, Crabtree printing presses and KBA/Sprint LTG coaters as needed. Must be sufficiently knowledgeable on a mechanical level to diagnose and question operators to determine the nature of any problems.
Research and develop programs to reduce changeover time as well as the latest technologies in equipment and support tools making recommendations on purchases or programs where needed.
Directly supervise and manage the Litho maintenance department and create, coordinate and conduct appropriate training programs for Litho production personnel, including mechanical support staff.

Management and people skills necessary to deal with problems in a sensible, reasonable, and organized manner.
Demonstrated experience with techniques for scheduling, operating and maintaining equipment and personnel in a complex operating environment.
Ability to direct the setup and operation of thermal sheet coating lines and a UV coating line.
Complete knowledge of multiple print UV continuous grip metal printing press lines, up to and including 6 colors with trailing UV coaters. Sufficient computer skills to meet all levels of the position.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: The incumbent must have
College degree and/or extensive supervisory with at least 10 years of documented management experience
Minimum of 3 years in the lithography industry and be computer literate

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
