Product Quality Manager - Lifoam

Job Summary:  Lead establishment and oversight of quality assurance specifications and compliance for Lifoam products, to include internal and customer compliance requirements, product risk assessments and regulations. Job Responsibilities:  Provides expertise and leadership in the following areas: Management of all domestic and global product compliance requirements for all existing product families Support Sales/Customer Development/R&D in assessing risk and developing concise compliance portfolios associated with new opportunities Establish an operating rhythm for compliance function to include but not limited to: annual document review, required routine testing, market regulation change review, and routine communication to all stakeholders Establish systems for storing and communicating product specific regulatory requirements, obtaining required documentation from vendors, and conducting all required testing Support QA, NPD, and CI project work as time permits Serve as Quality Assurance resource for problem identification, resolution, and continuous improvement. Participate in vendor/process certification; re-certification. Develop, execute, and analyze quality-reporting measures. Report to management on market specific compliance trends Initiate and implement quality improvement activities (e.g., Cross-Functional Kaizen, Six Sigma Projects) to raise the performance of the company's product lines. Perform root-cause analysis and other problem-solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements. Support concurrent engineering efforts by participating in design development projects representing quality assurance and customers and consumers. Establish collection and analysis systems of statistical data to predict trends that will affect improvement of product quality, build a Quality Information System. Report to executive management on quality issues, trends and losses. Poses no direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself, of others, or to property. Defined as a significant risk of substantial harm that cannot be eliminated or reduced to an acceptable level by reasonable accommodation. Requires regular attendance to perform essential element as contained herein between the assigned start and end times for work. Performs such individual assignments as management may direct. Key Qualifications: Seven to ten years' experience as a Product Compliance and/or Quality leader. Thorough knowledge of quality specifications and procedures. Strong technical knowledge in consumer goods. Comprehensive knowledge of product compliance to include, but not limited to, global and domestic food contact compliance regulations (i.e. FDA CFR, EU, MERCOSUR, etc.). Additional competencies to include: Quality Systems Assessment, Advanced Product Quality Planning, Root Cause Analysis, as well as the application of said quality methodologies to include supplier quality/supplier development. Experience as a leader in Compliance or Quality field. Understanding of Quality standards and systems including Statistical Process Control and other quality measurements. Demonstrates a high concern for detail, accuracy, and compliance to Company and Corporate policies and procedures. Experience in leading continuous improvement projects (Six Sigma, Lean) Spoken communication skills to lead others.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
