Sr. Design Engineer Location: Belcamp, MD Job Id: 136 # of Openings: 0 Job Title: Sr. Design Engineer Location: Belcamp Purpose of Position: Lead the engineering aspects of the design and development of personal protection equipment. Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of engineers to develop new concepts and assigned products in accordance with customer requirements, project objectives, ISO9001 and Avon quality systems, through full and efficient exploitation of company resources Design and develop products for the respiratory protection industry. Experience desirable in electromechanical packaging, molded plastic & rubber parts, machined components, and air management systems. Plan engineering activities to ensure that program timescales are met and provide regular status reports as requested by the engineering manager Generate innovative design concepts for market research and product planning Assemble and trial prototypes of components, products and systems Detail drawings of components, assemblies and systems. Liaise with Product Management to establish and agree product specifications meet the program requirements Participate in end user research as required Develop and maintain assembly procedures, assembly drawings, bills of materials, and test procedures. Communicate design and technical information to manufacturing and external suppliers Ensure products meet both customer requirements and regulations such as NFPA, NIOSH, CE, FCC, and Intrinsic Safety Maintain a high standard of communication with members of other teams, functional managers, customers and suppliers to pursue project objectives. Represent the Company in meetings internally and externally. Analyze inspection data and SPC capability study results and recommend necessary actions. Understand the commercial significance of projects and to control costs, meet project timing and customer project-approval objectives. Increase personal skills in mechanical and production engineering techniques, materials engineering, problem analysis techniques and benchmarking. Background & Skill: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Over 5 years of experience in a design and/or manufacturing of self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) Basic dimensioning and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing skills Familiarity with new product introduction tools and philosophies like FMEA, Design for Six Sigma and risk analysis Proven experience in the development of new products from conception to launch. Must have experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, & PowerPoint Technical understanding of respiratory technology Experience with electromechanical packaging Familiarity with PDM and/or ERP systems 6 Sigma training Competence in at least one 3D CAD system (Solidworks preferred) and knowledge of CAE & FEA techniques

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
