38 an hour 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago This position is responsible for the flow of materials and information within the Belcamp facility.
The primary responsibility will be to prepare shipments to customers including other WAVE locations.
In addition, this role will cross train as the secondary material handling of pallets, raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility; including both warehouse and production inventory areas.
Preparing Shipments:
Responsible for organizing and preparing shipments to WAVE locations and customers.
Material Handling:
Cross-train in handling pallets, raw materials, and finished goods within the facility, covering both warehouse and production inventory areas.
Forklift Inspections:
Conduct daily mechanical inspections of forklifts, ensuring proper functioning and promptly reporting any issues.
SCALE Management:
Utilize SCALE Insight screens for inventory, receipts, cycle counts, and work-related tasks.
Document Control:
Manage all SCALE documents related to picking, loading, receiving, and post-goods issuance.
Accuracy Verification:
Verify inbound paperwork against shipped materials and input relevant information into computer systems.
Paperwork Completion:
Ensure all required paperwork, including quality, scrap, and end-of-shift production reports, is completed accurately.
Material Staging:
Safely and accurately pick and stage materials for shipments using RDT and scanning equipment via SCALE (WMS).
Cycle Count and Cost Control:
Oversee cycle count initiatives and cost control measures for specialty products and processes.
Issue Resolution:
Investigate and prevent MIPS, shipping errors, and customer complaints related to specialty products.
Location Utilization:
Collaborate with the manager to optimize location utilization within SCALE configurations.
Safety and SOPs:
Communicate safety concerns and enforce correct SOPs for each process.
Documentation Management:
Properly file shipping Bill of Lading and Manifests paperwork.
Raw Material Conveyance:
Safely convey raw materials to multiple machines following the operating schedule.
Scrap Disposal:
Dispose of scrap materials according to standard operating procedures.
Raw Material Storage:
Accurately store raw materials in designated areas.
Loading Outbound freight:
Accurately load finished goods and Raw Materials onto flatbed and box trailers as required.
Effectively communicate any discrepancies at the time of loading/unloading.
Minimum
Qualifications:
1-3 years previous leadership experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or warehouse environment required Required; forklift certification or 2
years' experience in forklift operation SAP, BPCS, SCALE experience desired Business computer system skills in programs such as Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Detailed and process driven Strong ownership Customer advocate Effective written and verbal communication skills Able to lift a maximum of 40 pounds Background check required Job Type:
