Responsibilities:
Manage client relations and development.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to H&H staff.
Conduct quality control and quality assurance reviews of water resources-related work.
Develop project scopes of work and price proposals.
Assist staff in meeting project goals, schedules, and budgets.
Qualifications:
Licensure: Professional Engineer with at least eight years of experience.
Water resources project experience demonstrating increasing responsibilities and a track record of success.
Education: Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
Project experience with Maryland DOT, County, and Municipal clients is preferred.
Design experience includes hydrology and hydraulics analysis, drainage design, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, bridge and culvert scour analysis and countermeasure design, stream restoration, floodplain permitting, and watershed planning.
Experience using hydrologic and hydraulic software such as GISHydro NXT , TR-55, TR-20, HY-8, HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, and SWMM model.
Familiarity with NPDES permit requirements of municipalities and other government entities is preferred.
Knowledge of Chesapeake Bay TMDL requirements is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Experience developing task proposals and fee estimates.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
Able to wear GPI required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while working

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
