United Source One/Tristar Logistics and Cold Storage United Source One/Tristar Logistics and Cold Storage Belcamp, MD Belcamp, MD Full-time Full-time $18 - $22 an hour $18 - $22 an hour 4 days ago 4 days ago 4 days ago Position Summary This position is responsible for the creation, proofing, recordation, and verification of Arabic product/ingredient labels, as well as verification of acceptability of dating for products to be shipped to international customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Coordinate and implement translations of ingredient information of products from English to Arabic.
o Work closely with translator to coordinate sticker translations for sea and air shipments.
Send out translation requests as needed.
o Verify the acceptability of product ingredients to country of destination.
o Creation of labels to design and customer specification.
o Verification of product description.
o Formatting and amending translation sticker files in accordance with information received on label request forms.
o Completing the label verification and QA process as outlined in SOP.
o Editing graphic files.
o Aligning multi-lingual labels.
o Use of simplified Arabic fonts.
o Printing labels once information has been verified and customer has approved.
o Responsible for printing and shipping non-in-house labels to manufacturing plant for application on product.
o Coordinate with the customer any items need to be registered with their country of destination.
This must be completed before order ships.
Photos of products are required.
Communicate pertinent information internally and externally.
o Communicate with management and other departments on potential problems that may arise from the translation sticker approval process, and other labeling issues.
o Send the dating spreadsheet to customer for approval.
Save dating spreadsheet in corresponding order folder in computer.
o Communicate with vendors regarding verification of dating and ingredients on offsite production orders.
o Communicate with appropriate departments and managers on discrepancies found on products while completing label verification and QA process.
o Update the Google Docs Pipeline daily.
Making sure all information is up to date for the weekly Forward Planning meeting.
Monitoring the progress and verifications of orders.
o Confirm receipt of products with Logistics and Receiving Departments.
o Verify that Label Request Form is submitted through email once product arrives.
o Check and compare products against proforma for verification.
o Work closely with Logistics to track estimated arrival times of missing products.
o Monitor process times of orders to ensure printing of labels is being done efficiently.
o Work closely with Services Department to complete label verification and QA process of orders.
Other duties as required or directed.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Must be extremely organized, detail oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Must have a basic knowledge of Microsoft 365, Teams, Google Docs, and Word Perfect.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Team player-must be able to collaborate across multiple departments.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
