Position Summary SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a Research Inquiry Analyst to support our DoD IAC team in Belcamp, MD.
You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Research and respond to Technical Inquiries (TIs) on topics interrelated to any mixture of IAC's chartered focus areas:
Software Data & Analysis; Cyber Security; Modeling & Simulation; Knowledge Management & Information Sharing; Advanced Materials; Autonomous Systems; Directed Energy; Energetics; Military Sensing; Non-Lethal Weapons; Reliability, Maintainability, Quality, Supportability, Interoperability (RMQSI); Survivability and Vulnerability; Weapon Systems; Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR); Homeland Defense & Security; Critical Infrastructure Protection; Weapons of Mass Destruction; Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE) Defense; Biometrics; Medical; Cultural Studies; and Alternative Energy.
Assist Functional Subject Area (FSA) leads and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with research and preparation of formal responses to technical inquiries, documenting sources and methodology used to satisfy the inquiry.
Ensure that technical inquiries are closed out in a satisfactory and timely manner in accordance with the IAC contract and Quality Control plan.
Support the population and management of the IAC Subject Matter Expert (SME) database.
Conduct routine literature searches in the DTIC R&E Gateway and open source databases to support identification of emerging science and technology relevant to the IAC chartered focus areas above.
Conduct data analysis to enhance the usefulness of IAC products and services in support of the DoD science and technology communities.
Assist with identification and processing of Scientific and Technical Information (STI), including technical reports and papers, for upload to the DTIC R&E Gateway.
Support IAC web site and social media initiatives as requested.
Gather information, experience, and lessons-learned to document and increase efficiency of IAC processes.
Contribute to the preparation of the IAC products such as webinars, state of the art reports and news digests.
Perform additional activities as requested by the IAC Management.
Minimum Qualifications of Research Inquiry Analyst Science or Engineering Degree (A.
A in a Technical Discipline or comparable military background with tactical weapon systems +relevant experience may substitute).

Desired Experience Knowledge of science and technology developments with proficiency in conducting research and analysis leveraging a wide variety of technical tools including technical data repositories, technical publications subscriptions, and NLP tools.
Ability to quickly grasp advancing technology developments as applicable to DoD science and technology priorities.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
